One of my simple “compatible intelligence” tests is whether you “get” jokes. If you don’t, I may still like you, but I won’t ask you for ideas.

That must be a gas giant being humorous.

A celestial fart joke, but basically still just a fart joke.

“Pull my finger” from someone on the Red Planet? Wow, that’s an old one. I first heard that one when I was in high school, over 50 years ago.

To quote the movie Contact:“Young Ellie: Dad, do you think there’s people on other planets?“Ted Arroway: I don’t know, Sparks. But I guess I’d say if it is just us… seems like an awful waste of space.”

Mallett’s take on the world is not what one would call uplifting.

In space no one can hear you fart.

I wonder how many of those “stars” are Space X satellites?

Should have waited for Father’s day for this one.

In that last panel, I see characters from “Strange Planet” speaking. (If you don’t know “Strange Planet”, it is definitely one to seek out!)

Their humor is much more refined & gentle, uplifting 1 might say.

What Frazz and Jane are not aware of (yet) is a War of the Worlds alien pod behind them. They are about to have their questions answered in a most tragic manner.

Obviously, one of the gas giants…

Why would aliens want to take over a world that is going to be obliterated to allow an intergalactic expressway?
