Given that the virus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon until the vast majority contract it or there’s a vaccine, it’s probably best to cancel everything forever. Chances are it will stick around and mutate in those who act as reservoirs: their immune systems suppress the virus but fail to successfully eliminate it. It’s an RNA virus: it doesn’t have the mirrored copy strand DNA does to help prevent errors, so it’s more prone to mutation.
