Trump is really pushing to get the country open, not understanding that it takes more than businesses announcing they’re open to actually open up the country!

I can grasp why a “real estate salesman” wouldn’t have a firm handle on how macro-economics functions, but I would have thought that someone, somewhere, who had the president’s “ear” would have explained its workings by now.

I guess that the lyrics to Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer” are totally apropos to Trump; he truly DOES hear what he wants to hear – and disregards the rest!

The observation that some of us had when America first decided to “take a chance” on Trump – that the American presidency DOESN’T change a person – it REVEALS that person is turning out to be prophetic.

Because Trump hasn’t “grown” a bit, but the “real” Trump has increasingly been revealed, and most of us are NOT PLEASED with what we’re seeing.

We need to “flush” the republican party into the “septic tank of history” where the anaerobic bacterial environment can “digest” the republican lies and dissembling of the past decades in a safe and timely manner without poisoning of the American body politic!
