I run on a trail in a local park. A woman there, when she sees someone coming (or hears them behind her), holds a hiking stick out sideways so they have to pass by her at least six feet away.
Is it really much different from the “good old days,” when there were individuals, whose job it was to measure women’s bathing suits, to be sure they fell to the proper length?

Saving lives from being lost to drowning but saving them from or sharing COVID is just as important or more so.

If we just issued each person a 6’ pole the problem would be solved.
