A local paper once had a picture of me on the front page. They spelled my name wrong, but since the caption didn’t include the words “Heinous, Tragic, or Person of Interest” I figured I’d quit while I was a head.
Memorial Day I had to scrape the moss to see my father’s name. I cried when I realized how long I had forgotten his grave. Left my $12 flowers and haven’t been there since. The man who shaped me.
My ashes will be mixed with those of my cockatoo and saved in a really pretty glass urn chosen by my artistic daughter (or possibly more than one- I don’t care as long as I’m mixed with my soulmate (longest relationship in my life ;-)
If there were only one choice, I’d rather be a good person than famous 100% of the time. If that were the goal of every person then this would be a truly wonderful world.

When it comes time for me to go, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather…not YELLING and SCREAMING like all the passengers in his car.

Zager and Evans already sang that song in the first paragraph, Night.
the movie “Network” gave an eerie view of our current “news” disaster and has me wondering if Fox is funding Al Q.
But they did put her name on the stone. What kind of name is RIP for a woman though?

When I am dead and over me bright April Shakes out her rain-drenched hair, Though you should lean above me broken-hearted, I shall not care.
I shall have peace, as leafy trees are peaceful When rain bends down the bough, And I shall be more silent and cold-hearted Than you are now.
