My first thought was to offer her “comfort”. No surprise. But on reflection, I don’t think i have access to the sort of therapy she will require.

Jerry’s doing his damnedest to avoid other shoppers, not contaminate his phone, and get through self checkout while trying to get the touch screen to work while wearing gloves. He’s also got to disinfect the groceries once he gets to the car. This takes lots of time. You can thank our “war time” prez., the Orange Reaper, for all this. His insanity and ineptitude have directly caused more deaths than the last couple of American wars combined. And his response to all this death, disruption and catastrophe? “Best job any president has ever done”. MAGA really means “Morons Again Governing America”.

Will he ever be seen again?

You work from home? I have to work with people who some are on the edge. I know a lot of people who had lost jobs or had been sick. I’ve been a boss for over 42 years I’ve had people come and thank God go (some)! I have or had people that work for me for over 35 years and had lost their jobs. I have no idea how they are after six weeks. I wish they would call me and give an OK. Oh by the way I am 62 years old I call my Mother when ever I can a couple times a week. If I call her everyday she thinks that somethings wrong that is just her way. Communication is a must right now some people can over do it.But that comic you posted!!!!!!!!!!! I loved your art work over the years. I hope you can do better or better yourself with your work. You lost me bye.

He is shipwrecked on the bread isle.

I wasn’t sure which way you were going. The store is stressful, though of course, more so for the minimum wage workers who are constantly espoused. But this Woman is black, so I wondered if her fear for her husband isn’t just for his life. I know too many black people who have been stopped by cops for just doing normal things. Even bird watching is no longer safe.

Makayla has way too much time on her hands.

I don’t have that problem. Soon as I leave she calls…..I have a long invisible leash!! Luckily my music plays over my earpods……and she can’t hear it.xD
