“Come into my orbit”, said the spider to the flying object.

I wouldn’t want to be around when it starts feeding.

What was missing, giant space spiders. Whats next? A black hole that swallows Earth?

Proof positive that centripetal force doesn’t really exist. Moons are really kept in place by giant space spiders.

That’s the second biggest R.U. Sirius I’ve ever seen!

With the moon as close to earth as the length of the Sirius you may see record high tides…in Denver.

I’m reminded of Hothouse by Brian Aldis (1962): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hothouse_(novel)

They should be worried about what size prey the spider is supposed to catch

I have a touch of arachnophobia and just this picture kind of creeps me out. Thank you for tonight’s nightmare.

Unfortunately this otherwise good strip immediately reminded me of the initial movie trailer for the first Spider-Man movie where Spidey had placed his webs between the Twin Towers in New York to catch the bad guys in a helicopter. It goes without saying that the trailer was quickly removed and replaced due to the events that transpired.
