The strip originated in 1985. There was a flash back scene to Arlo showing up at a sorority party. The segment was also a parody of Gone With the Wind.

They’re at least in their 50’s…

Their flashbacks are to the 1970’s, but strip time hasn’t moved at a real pace.

Aw, the good old days … when women were perky and T-shirts were sodden.

on a day like today with this heat and humidity i would stand there and get sprayed and let him enjoy the view for awhile.

Persistency pays off sometimes, but not today.

from an older woman’s point of view, it is basically “I don’t want to get chased around by a man with a hose. I’m busy” it comes from being hot and tired and dirty. It is a shame because in a few moments it could be cool and fun and her sweetheart would have another great memory.

30 years, and Arlo is still only interested in Janis. I like it
