I just read a bar close to me was sited for not wearing masks, patrons, no masks, and all having a good ole time….the owner had to go to court, along with two other owners of bars…because they don’t have a G D brain in their head… love of money is the root of all evil….spreading Covid is deadly…but seems some idiots can’t grasp that…

where I live very few are even trying. they don’t believe in it i guess. but me, I’m awful close to hysteria. not that that’d help anything.

Don’t lose hope. Even if our ‘leadership’ might make it seem that way.

Dying is not the worst thing about Covid-19! The after-effects can be horrendous and long-lasting. They are not risking a simple bout of infection, but may be condemning themselves and their friends, colleagues, and families to a shorter lifetime of heart and neurological problems. Enjoy the biking while you can!

One day when we allow ourselves to stop being gamed.

My gym is my “one day” place. It reopened several weeks ago under the guise of being a physical therapy center, it isn’t, and I stopped by to say hello to the manager and let her know I was okay but not coming back until the numbers were safer. A gaggle of idiots were all together, chattering away without mask. I backed out and decided I’d made a good decision not to come back.

Being stupid for a day can cause a lot of inconvenience, not to mention a lot of pain. Often for others.

Never been big on bars, don’t socialize much, prefer to drink alone. My life has been changed very little by Covid, since I’ve been retired for almost 20 years, have few friends, family all far away. Bars can stay closed forever, as far as I care.

This just seemed appropriate.

i haven’t been to a restaurant or seen any famaily since this pandemic started; it’s just me and my dog.

The USA has one of the lowest death rates for China flu (sometimes referred to as COVID 19) due to the great job of our institutions.

One day will happen as soon as people grow a pair and make it happen. Otherwise, you’re slave to your governor’s whims forever

That one day may come sooner than we think. Notice I say “may”. No guarantees on when, but we will get through this.

Pig, I’ve never seen you with those people, anyway. Now you don’t have to share your beer with anyone. I don’t see the problem!

You have nothing to fear but fear itself…… fear feeds on itself. Once we come to be afraid of something, we convince ourselves and others to be more and more afraid of that thing.

Pig’s too poignant this time. Now I have a lump in my throat. The last time PBS made me this sad was probably when Croc Junior went off to school.

Dream on Pig, dream on.I guess we all can dream but I am afraid a dream is all it will ever be. The world we once knew is gone and I fear it will never return. In time we may get back bits and pieces of it if we are lucky, very lucky.
