And thus Duncan invented the Cat-a-pult.

And a little red-headed girl invents southern drawl, though it evolves over time to “Thenk yew.” ;-)

    “Meowrr…” – translation… as per most animated, “I’m okay!” ;)

Accident becomes innovation becomes method becomes tradition. It’s called serendipitous inspiration.

I love how Homer and Duncan’s re-incarnations don’t follow a linear progression, but may actually jump backwards in time.

Like a wise man once said:

“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect. But actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey… stuff…”

“Meowrr” is actually the prehistoric equivalent to Wile E. Coyote’s “Ppppft!” when he hits the ground after being outsmarted by the Roadrunner… "

Didn’t I predict the trajectory of the cat’s fall? I just got the cause of the launch wrong…. :)

My definitive prognostication from last week:“Unless he’s got some great acrobatic skills, I don’t believe Kitty’s gonna get a good foothold on that rock ledge; and even if he does, he’s probably gonna get his ass burnt.”
