How rude. That truck deserves better. Give it a propper Viking burial and see if the insurance company still pays.

Adjust the ignition timing. There’s only one per motor…

At some point, the thing will not be able to be fixed!

I thought the truck accelerated so hard that it flung the layer of sod off the cliff and the guys must have been riding in the bed… leaving jojo to be driving, or such…

It has been 50 years since any engine has had a rotary distributor with a mechanical advance.

I’m with whichever brother that is. A car/truck is basically just transportation. As long as it is cheaper to maintain or repair than to buy a new one, keep it!

Keep your truck Marcus, at least it can be worked on. My daily driver has over 246,000 miles on it and is still going strong. I will drive it until it dies and costs more to fix than what it is worth.

It’s called the distributor Charlene, and where is your timing light?

With all the distractions in new vehicles, I’m with him- keep what works and (hopefully) cheaper to be fixed.

That old truck was made back in the days you could actually adjust the ignition timer without a computer.
