This is where we get comments about kilts and what is Not Wearing under that Fashion Statement! Mostly because… everyone should be able to easily figure out if he is letting it all flap in the breeze!
Only in the south. I remember being home on leave before going to Vietnam. My girlfriend loved my paisley bell bottom jeans and wanted a pair. We looked all over Greensboro NC, the home of blue jeans, but were not able to find a single pair of bell bottom jeans.
Getting a flashback of my college days in the 70’s were friends would remind me that walking too fast in my tight waisted super flared corduroy bell bottoms might start a fire.
It did catch on – like a bad cold. Fortunately most recovered, but then it mutated to skinny-legs syndrome, which seems to have hung on despite attempts to ignore it.

Had me a pair in Middle School—-in the late 80s, long after they had gone out of style. I loved those jeans though.

It’s fine as long as you’re not standing too close to him and looking down.

Let’s hope they skip the skinny jeans and the ‘soggy bottom’ pants.. unless it’s a comedy show.

I resisted bell bottoms for years….finally broke down and bought a pair….damned near killed my self, always tripping on them…

Looks to me like he has a tiny little boat suspended around his waist.

As a runway model, he needs to look much more hostile; looking like a hostile zombie would be perfect.

I thought bell bottoms had a lot of flair.

Fashion is what you’re offered by designers. And style is what you choose.

The original design use for the characters in February 1958 is same as the one he is modeling.
