So, however long ago Wiley came up with this story, he was already betting on the (lack of) peaceful transfer of power…

I’m half expecting this strip to be taken literally as a “historical document” and a new round of lawsuits will be filed alleging that mastodons and long-dead cavemen illegally voted for Biden. It makes as much sense as the real carp they’re pedding…

Add peaceful transfer of power to the list of things Republicans* hate.

Along with accountability, democracy, blacks voting, science, facts…

The list is getting pretty long.

    .

*Republicans are now the Party Of Trump.

What happened to RESIST!? Like that was somehow “peaceful”? 4 years of a fraudulent criminal probe? 4 years of a political coup?

Whoa. Wiley’s crystal ball is right on the money.

And the moral is: The Democrats need a herd of Mammoths to stampede through the Oval Office.

Once again, certain words, spoken at the wrong moment, lead to unanticipated consequences. But then, who knew? Clairvoyants who persist beyond the soul deadening strictures of childhood conformance are rare.

The not-so-peaceful transfer of power will have nothing to do with President-elect Biden. This battle will be waged after his inauguration by Trump and his MAGA mob, and McConnell and his power brokers for the soul of the so-called Republican Party.

Trump is desperately trying to continue to control the Party and the message, by promising his minions that he’ll stage a comeback in 2024 and will continue to try to dominate the news cycle and airing grievences – real and imagined.

While McConnell will redux his stratagy blocking & stalling every move by Biden, at the same time blaming the Democrats for everything from mumps to dishpan hands!

This is now the Trumpist Party and the old school pols know it!

Why is everyone so concerned about the transfer of power NOW? That will NOT take place until JANUARY 20, 2021 no matter how much the never-trumpers want it now!!!

Wiley had the same insight of Bill Maher, or anyone who was paying attention. I was doubtful that the orange turd would even lose, but I had no hope of him conceding. He’s holding out as long as he can, so he can do more damage to our democracy. I hope a long prison term is his destination when this is over.

Evocation of “power” is clear enuf, but I don’t get what’s going thru the brutish leader’s head when he’s thinking “piece”. Piece of what? How does that inspire him to finish Homer off?
