This reminds me that once again on General Hospital, the Quartermaines will try to prepare the perfect Thanksgiving dinner, only for something to go wrong so that they order pizza instead.
Very few turkeys are burned in the US. More often someone tries to cook one that isn’t fully thawed, it doesn’t get cooked properly, and the guests get salmonella. There will be more turkeys that set fire to homes than are served burned. (Someone bought the hardware for deep frying a turkey, but put in too much oil – forgetting that when the bird goes in in displaces oil in the huge pot, which spills over, is ignited by the propane gas jet, and sets fire to everything in ten foot radius.)

Don’t forget to remove the giblets and neck from the neck cavity before putting the bird into the oven.

I suspect that turkey’s been photo-shopped.

How do you burn a turkey? You’re usually waiting and waiting for it to finish.

Little loss, the outer side often isn’t that tasty anyway. And I bet she got all the salmonella in that one and the twelve closest others.
