This story has wilted faster than a discarded Daisy!

Lots of holes, but still, one of the better stories in a long, long time.

The police didn’t announce themselves.

The police entered without a warrant.

The police had no reason to enter the building.

The store owner was defending himself and his stock from intruders.

Once more the great detective blows the case with a parade of civil rights violations that will get this all thrown out.

this is beyond the fact the story characters do not know of ANY crime being committed.

While those big honking gloves might have made it safer to handle poisonous spiders I’d think they’d be a liability in trying to fire a gun.

Nice shot, and doing it on the run! Shaggy may as well have shot himself, since he’s now leapt up from grand larceny to attempted murder (and when they find his pets, and his side business…).

Dick just got the best Christmas present a man could ever get. Send all the baubles, trinkets and gew gaws you all got him back to the stores because his stocking is FULL.

This must be one of those ‘magic’ coincidental moments I keep hearing about. A bigger holiday bonus for Sam this year.

The ricocheting bullet reminds me of the Gould years. Except his usually had a wiggly line behind them.

Boy, this story didn’t last long…

Well, I think Yeti is going to the cooler. (I’ll see myself out.)

Precedence established by Mad Magazine circa 1967 requires that all ricochets be identified with a clear ’PIT-WEEEE!" I hereby find this comic in violation and fine them $500.

Yeti’s gun represents everything that has no place in the hands of the public: Extended magazine, fully automatic, concealable, armor piercing bullets, inaccurate beyond 20 yards, purchased out of state by a third party who, unlike Yeti, had a clean record, made of plastic on a 3D printer so it can be smuggled onto an airplane and inappropriate for hunting. (I made one or two assumptions there).

Well, the new storyteller it turns out, isn’t much better than the usual gang of idiots. I still don’t know what Yeti will be charged with, (Aiming at a shadow?) and yes, where is Daisy? Is there now a rule again that stories must be truncated to fit into 4-6 weeks? Seems that way. On the upside, great art,

I suppose Yeti will go peacefully. He has no back up plan such as smoke bombs to throw that would cover his escape. Kudos to guest Mark Barnard…interesting storyline…no lag time. Who is warming up in the bull pit next? Joe and Mike, bring him or her on.

Wow! That’s quite some trick shooting, Sammo! Not since the innocent days of 1940s/early ‘50s cowboy movies with the like of Roy Rogers or Gene Autry have I seen "shooting the gun out of the Bad Guy’s hand" featured like this (panel 3)! —Very lucky for Tracy, too! I think Sam Catchem deserves a huge Hannukah bonus this year!

That sure was a quick transition from “Nothing yet” to shooting the bad guy.
