I see a passel of police in that house’s future. Being kind and tactful would have gotten Aquarius more mileage. Instead he is only inciting increased police interest.
I wish I knew what I missed here today . Something is weird , for sure . Anyway as usual great images . I wonder when the gorgeous Blue eyed blond will show up . And what was Tracy thinking ? Just walk up and ask questions ?
1-NARKY MARK: And furthermore, this is a private club, ala Studio 54 and NOT a commune. It is me who decides who gets in, not Daisy and not that giant moron you’re chasing, Motorhead Moe… oops, I’ve said too much…
2-DT: But under other circumstances, you’d let us in, right? We know how to make the scene. We’re hep cats. We can do the Boogaloo and the Funky Tushi too.
3-SAM: Was it really necessary to show that guy your Funky Tushi, Dick? One visit and we’re on the ‘banned for life’ list!
DT: Awww, c’mon. This place ain’t really where it’s at…
There has been much discussion about whether Tracy and Sam are falling into stereotypical thinking by assuming hippies = drugs, and also much discussion about whether this house looks like the Wayne Manor or not. Purely by coincidence, blunebottle linked us to a site yesterday that listed all of the cameo appearances while Batman and Robin were “climbing” the wall in the 60s Batman series. I read through the descriptions of each episode. The coincidence I refer to is the comment Susie Knickerbocker made when she poked her head out of the window:
Knickerbocker explains that she is in town because she hears that millionaire Bruce Wayne is “one of the hippies,” with his fabulous Wayne Manor.
Actually, Tracy and Sam just let Aquarius know that he can no longer be “comfortable and anonymous” in openly dealing drugs in the park…And now they will start “rolling up” Ty and any other dealers …And Aquarius is now “rattled” enough to start making more mistakes… Remember, it was Cheesecake who suggested what Aquarius should do after “Dollar Bill” was killed…
I guess that Tracy and Sam will “bide their time” doing more digging into the house and its denizens…
Now that Aquarius knows who the police are looking for, would be a good idea for Ty to get out of town on a Greyhound bus. What was that old slogan they had? Oh yeah….take Greyhound and leave the driving to us.
On the contrary, Sam, “a bust” is exactly what that episode wasn’t: no hippie was busted, i.e., arrested. The anonymous antagonist (Aquarius), has sent Tracy and Sam away in abject failure—for now…..

Good morning™, everyone!
So, the fishing expedition without a warrant really didn’t get them much of anything expect to prove that Mr. Noname (Aquarius) is very uncooperative.

Does it EVER do anything else in Tracyville except snow flurries?
And why did Tracy’s hat change shape in the last panel?
Wouldn’t it have made sense to obtain a warrent to search the groovy digs before going there?

Tracy didn’t ask to SEARCH the place. Aquarius is unnecessarily drawing suspicion to himself.

No, Sam, this is some kind of bust:

Why did so many reviewers today think Aquarius was doing something wrong by asking the police to obey the law?

“Detective Catchem? Do you smell that?”
“Do you mean that faint, but clearly unmistakable scent of marijuana? Why, yes, Detective Tracy, I do.”

Go get a warrant. Of course, the suspect will probably be in hiding by then, but you never know what you’ll find in a place that size.
