When I was in the military, I had about 50 pairs of socks. Half of them were black dress socks all of the same style the other half were black heavy socks, all the same style for wear with my boots.
My wife questioned this when we first got married. I told her that less than 50 pairs of socks doesn’t make a decent wash load and that any two I grab are a pair.
