@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but it’s a repeat , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp is very flippant about the institution of being married so to gain another bloke for his darts team Andy expects him to come straight to the pub not go with his bride for their honeymoon :o)I beg to defer, getting married to a good woman was one of the best things I did in my life , my avatar is of a cat ignoring it’s human , like Bella does with me , but not with Connie , she expects her to get downstairs at 3am nt 6am so she starts to miaow at the top of her voice , how was your day , our Manic Monday should be very busy as usual but we should cope I hope , I have already done the shopping so now I can chill , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

My best man and I went out 4-wheel driving on the morning of my wedding day.

I enjoy Andy Capp every day, and have done so (when possible) since the 1960’s. The lettering may be the worst example of its kind, though. Its kind is the pre-drawn, automated kind, typed into each panel the way I type this comment. A few other strips do the same the same, like Blondie and late-stage Charles Schulz; why are Capp’s words colder? Maybe it’s a cold font to begin with; maybe it’s the tight and angular balloons around the text.

Half an hour? Really?

Hey, Affie. I’m sure Connie feels exactly the same way about you.

I went out for a wander yesterday to get some fresh air. Then I got some food and was sat outside on a seat eating it. It was very quiet with few people around which was pretty great. Obviously I’d prefer to eat in but because of COVID we are not allowed.

You must not keep Queen Bella waiting!
