Does this mean all of Calvin’s good thoughts are gone forever as well?

Deus Ex Machina…. The disturbing part is all of this happens in his head and he seemed genuinely surprised at the solution (and of course claimed credit). I think this child may have multiple personality disorder.

Imagine a universe where the good Calvin went forward. It would be very different. How would Hobbes react? He’s advised Calvin enough times to take the high road, so maybe they’d still get along fine. And his parents, once they got used to the change, would be overjoyed – no trouble, polite, no wrecked cars or houses flooded, good grades, helps around the house, etc.

I guess that could never last, as most fantasies cannot stand contact with the reality they attempt to escape from.

There’s “Good vs evil” and then there’s “Good vs Calvin”.

He’s a genius and he didn’t even know it. What a genius.

Too much Ethic is not bearable a good mix is better!!

But the bad news Calvin, is that now you need to do your own homework.

Obviously “good Calvin” was in his imagination, but unlike Hobbes other people actually interacted with him. So I assume Calvin was playing his good self?

And once again evil triumphs over good. Tune in next week for the next exciting chapter.

When does the more evil Calvin appear?

So why didn’t he vanish yesterday when he fought with Calvin and called him names?

Can we do that with the Democrats?

I flunked my applied metaphysics course in college. The prof said I was unable to grasp the basic content.

I knew this strip was coming and I still laughed out loud.

The last panel is a hoot, “Moral Compromise spectral release phanatsamtron” In real scientific terms: a biological self-destruction process upon the neuro wed ( Mind ) having a morally defined idea to lie, harm, or steal. Or creating the most effective control leash which has been created by no six-year let alone scientist ever. Then again thank God & Bill Waterson for Calvin’s imagination.

Man, I LOVE this strip and Watterson’s humor, as well as his command of language….

There is probably a leak in the Ethicator, some of the evil stuff leaked into the good Calvin.

This has nothing to do with this strip or storyline. But if any of you remember the Sunday strip where Calvin gets out of bed to start his day, only to be out the door on his way to school and heard his mother wake him up for school and it turned out he dreamed all of that? I just had a similar experience with my dreams last night. Trippy.
