If the other guy is ahead, is that Lars-ceny?

LOL! I live in Denmark (the southern part of Scandinavia, for those of you who don’t know it), and we haven’t had a proper snowfall in ages. Just a pretty little layer, that disappeared in a few days.

Getting the feeling the cap on Mallett’s ink bottle is not on tight. The fumes . . .

Usonian Social Democrats admire Scandinavia.

It takes 100,000 years for the genes to change. Descendants of Finns, etc. live is US and Canada still look out for their old-fart neighbors.

Scandinavia as a demonym is a complex topic. The more you scratch, the more you learn.

No nationality has a monopoly on neighborliness. When it snows, this Slavic-American Jew and his mostly Haitian-American neighbors go out and shovel and salt whenever we can, and everybody does his own walk and the ones on either side. If someone or other goes out every few hours during a big storm, it never becomes too heavy a burden for anyone.

Scandinavians are happy to no longer be associated with their Frazzian descendants. They have plenty of snowflakes already.

Not sure how fun it would be, but it certainly seems like a nice game.

Let’s honor every demonym

Sounds socialist to me! Society getting together to help old Mr. Hoover, and each other, for no pay – destroying our capitalist system! From those of more ability, to those in need! …. Republicans and people of faith take note of how selfish that sounded.

Norwegians are generally really nice and thoughtful. I spent a few months there over Christmas Holidays. I was never treated so nicely before. Even strangers are so welcoming
