Here’s the newbie to toss out this irrelevancy: Happy National Ferret Day, a day to educate people about this lively and intelligent companion animal. It’s also a time to focus on such ferrety issues as welfare, care, nutrition and responsible ownership.
And while I’m at it: California? Legalize the little carpet sharks!
Agnes/Goldie is passing as an Easter egg. Lupin/Natasha and Elvis/Violet are taking the Georgia Dunn box (or maybe rearranging their anchor desk?), and Alice/Pucky is, of course, climbing.
Toe beans galore! Puck, Lupin, and Goldie! On Goldie we have the RSoRTB [Rare Sighting of Rear Toe Beans], (which may not be all that rare as it just happened last week).
Lupinium: Ah, nothing like running outside for a bit of fresh air.
Burt-Ra: But watch out for that bee!
Lupinium: Oh, hi, Esmeralda. How’s everything in the hive today?
Esmeralda: Oh, we’re all buzzing along with the pollen gathering. The Royal Procurers should be along soon, making sure Thomios has what he needs in the royal pantry.
Lupinium: I hear Thomios is preparing for the Renewal Feast with his special honey oatcake recipe.
Enter Puckmosis, Beatrixia, and Avenger, back from the Cosmos Nursery
Diana: Daddy! Uncle Puck! Aunt Bea! You’re back.
Avenger: Yep, and we have lots of flowers and goodies for everyone! Have you been good for Mommy and Uncle Burt?
Emma: She has been as good as 24 carrots and sweet as Esmeralda’s honey.
Puckmosis: It looks like there’s someone who looks just like me coming! Alice-Ata, is that you? What are you doing in my style tunic?
One of the very first “catification” books to ever be published, way back in the 90s, was The Cat’s House by Bob Walker and Frances Mooney. (I highly recommend it!)
They collected Mexican day of the dead ornaments and highly recommended double sided tape to keep such things safely on shelves in a house full of cats.
I think the fluffy little things are those chicks made out of extra fluffy pipe cleaners. They are adorable and won’t “break” but can be destroyed in lots of other ways! Goldie has taken lessons from Lupin!
I see the Robber Mice are trying to keep their April Fools gag going.
And Goldie seems to be trying to take Lupin’s place as a toddler. Are we truely sure the Boy broke Short and Stout as he claimed or did Goldie do it in her sleep and the Boy thought he did. And blamed Lupin.

Good times
These are the good times
Paws and frills collide
These are the good times
Bappy days are here again
The time is right for breakin’ events
They’ll get together about half past mayhem
Come tomorrow, they’ll do it all again
Boys will be boys, better let them have their toys
Girl will be girl, cute fuzzy tail unfurled
Must put an end to all stress and strife
Sometimes they want to live the naughty life
Good times
These are the good times
The Woman will not mind (?!)
These are the good times
A rumor has it that it’s getting late
Time marches on, the mice can’t wait
Shiny things abound, why not partake?
Behaving well is vastly overrated
They’ll cut and run, a little jive and bonkers fun
They want the best, won’t settle for less
Don’t be a drag; participate
Eggs on the top shelf, enough for eight, ain’t it great?
Good times
These are the good times
Leave your cares behind
These are the good times
