Strangely, messing with the DNA , RNA and whatever could result in offspring that sprout weird appendages. It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature.

Somehow I don’t think The Pill Bug would have been as successful a movie as The Fly.

This might have happened anyway: As he put on more weight – he was getting more and more roly-poly.

“Pill bug” – aka potato bug or roly-poly. I didn’t know they are also called “armadillo bugs” until I read it in this comments section, but the name makes sense.

Two things. First, that’s not how pill bugs generally move. Second, a pill bug isn’t a bug, it’s a crustacean.
