Parents can hide a Butterfinger or Baby Ruth in the kid’s diaper. Just be careful that there are no mix-ups.

Never mind the prices on the theater snacks. If I’m paying to see a movie in a theater, I don’t want the distraction of eating during it. And I definitely don’t want to sit too near to someone else who is eating, particularly if they’re doing it loudly.

We bring two cans of pop, a candy bar or two and we buy popcorn. That is all the theft we allow.

In the UK, it’s a common belief that if Americans go without eating for a couple of hours they believe it will kill them. :)

The majority of the theaters operating expenses and salaries are from the sales of snacks and drinks, not ticket sales.
