I always loved how nonchalant Miss Wormwood is about one of her students leaping out an open window.

That could have been Mrs. Smith, one of our two grade school teachers, she taught 4,5,6 grades. Mrs. Langley had the 1,2,3’s. Looks just like her….

That would have been a 50 FOOT fall for Calvin!!! This taking into account the classroom is on the 3rd floor of the building!

That woman is an amazing school teacher… along the lines of the way they used to make them. Old, krinkly, but sweet, understanding, and wise to the likes of the Calvin’s. Um, not that I knew anyone like him…

I had a friend do exactly what Calvin attempted except we were in 11th grade. And we were on the 2nd floor! Our poor teacher durn near fainted but my friend just landed in a roll down the sloped lawn in front of the building, got up and took off.
