The ‘mortar board’ kinda indicates the class is above the high school level, yet the math suggests a very low course level. Could be the old cliche about the Math Level 000 course for freshman scholarhip athletes.
At least, with the once-and-done system in place nowadays, schools only have to fake the classroom attendance record for a year. Used to be it lasted longer.
