Luckily I never wore contact lenses between fifth grade and a few years after graduating high school when I was first prescribed glasses (I didn’t feel like wearing glasses then).
Gargoyles are supposed to direct rain water outward, away from the building, thru their mouths. How is this one supposed to work? The designer should have left the nose exposed so it could spew water out like the virus does from the noses of idiots who don’t wear their mask correctly.
That business of updating cathedral gargoyles has led to a major misapprehension by a significant portion of the public. Barcelona’s cathedral added a space-walking astronaut during an update/repair, and now there is a segment of the public who takes it as proof of ancient aliens. “See? This medieval cathedral has this gargoyle …”
Wonder who counted those bubbles? Would the typical bar patron, after consuming a few, be able to count that high? What if they were off by, say, five?
“The masked figure reminds us that the history of St Albans stretches forwards as well as backwards, and pilgrims will be able to mark the latest chapter in the history of this cathedral alongside Amphibalus and Alban, who were there at the very beginning.”

Once time I put eye drops on my nails. Doctors say I shouldn’t have bothered going to the hospital.

Googling tells me that a glass of champagne is about 180 to 300 ml, which coincidentally is about half a pint.

From all reports, those bubbles don’t stop anywhere along the way. In one end and out the other.

Why does beer go through your system faster than water? It doesn’t have to stop to change color.

The gargoyle appreciated the mask, having seen many plagues since medieval times.
duh.
That 2 million figure is accurate and has been Supreme Court verified when Chief Justice Roberts asked for a volunteer to count the bubbles.
