Well, I’m not overly into side tours myself , having seen one too many GODZILLA flicks where the human elements just become boring, but this does serve to round out some peripheral characters. And it can work as a marked contrast with more ‘active’ parts of a story, given quick cutting back and forth. Keep in mind that in comics work, Mike invested a great deal of thought into the characters of the individuals he wrote. SHANDA was around 90% character-driven. He’s carrying through here in basically the same way.

As an example of inspired character creation, take the cartoonist in this story arc. For me, he’s totally loathsome, but sometimes it takes more skill to work up up a player who makes your skin crawl than playing is safe and easy.

OK, it’s not the B/W original… which remake of King Kong is this one?

I appreciate the character development. Honeymoon is an important part of Tracyville and she is growing up. Still, I suspect these two will play a role in the story we don’t expect. We saw Astor in his Astro Boy gear at the cosUcon. Honeymoon went as Symmetra (from the Overwatch video game). Tracy was mistaken for Inspector Gadget. Might Mr. Archival wish to add “Astro Boy” to his collection? Side tour? Or more?

Well, we at least know they didn’t go back for popcorn. I’m guessing this is leading to Mindy sending a signal which Honeymoon misinterprets as romance from Astro so they’re stuck with the collector for several days until Honeymoon can’t reach Mindy to fill her in on the date and puts 2 and 2 together.

I can see Honey Moon is way more than digging it! I like these kids already! I’d say we have two new stars….mega stars….in this strip. Ya just can’t beat young love!

I say these kids take over the strip! Enough of Tracy and Pickle Nose’s foolishness.

Did anyone else notice Honeymoon’s got pierced ears? I’m sure some people think she’s too young for that.
