I am a data analyst. The worst thing that can happen is to let me loose on an internet full of numbers. I can’t help myself.

I looked at the states with the highest and lowest vaccination rates. Then I looked at how those states voted in the 2020 election.

In the top 20 states, 19 of them voted for Biden, number 20 (Nebraska) voted for Trump.

In the bottom 20 states, 17 of them voted for Trump. All 20 of the worst states have Republican-controlled state legislatures.

In the data analyst business, we call this a strong positive correlation.

I dunno, I like to take the advice of intelligent science professionals, but these anti-vax dumbasses may have discovered a meaningful method of culling the herd..

Geez…I’m a Republican and my wife and I (along with others in my church) got vaccinated. It seemed the wise thing to do. I also know two Democratic couples who DIDN’T get vaccinated. I think that this is not along party lines, but more along, as Pickled Pete wrote, ‘dumba$$’ lines.
