Seven bears and one rabbit? Maybe they need even more diversity.

The bunny needs to make them watch ZOOTOPIA.

I thought bears had other uses for rabbits.

All it takes is an appetite for change.

There’s a very Hegelian idea that “Odd numbered thoughts are best”. Like this:

1: :) You have a new and creative idea

2: :( But on second thought, there are some problems.

3: :) But, we can fix those problems by ….

4: :( Alas that can’t work

5: :) But wait, what if…

I never have second thoughts. No need. I’m always right the first time.

Some people’s idea of “democracy” is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch, but this situation seems a bit extreme…

So, we’re breaking for an early lunch then?

Let’s have our new board member make a suggestion!!!

Better head down the rabbit hole.

Maybe he will morph into the rabbit from Donnie Darko!

Seems hardly enough diversity to go around.

The Mr. Wiley sitting to the left of Herr Hare is especially enthusiastic about this new development.

They don’t seem too late if it’s the bear that is having them.

I wonder if that is a Vorpal Bunny?

Perhaps Peter Rabbit can survive if he can get the bears arguing about who gets the first bite. There’s not really enough of him for all of them to share.

That rabbit must undoubtedly be Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire, who owns a mansion und a yacht…

Isn’t that the kind of diversity where an artificial attempt to improve the corporate image is the only only priority.

I get it but a bear catching a rabbit?! Several bears in a board room, maybe.

This applies to politics, too. In the 1960s, Canadian Prime Minister Lester Pearson used to compare American/Canadian relationships to elephant and rabbit stew:

“You take one elephant and one rabbit ….”

A tad OT; I read a small filler bit in yesterdays paper that the FCC dumped the TV Fairness Doctrine in 1987. I am not surprised that it was a GOP administration that dumped it. I am somewhat surprised that they did not remove the rule that implemented the policy from the Federal Register until 2011.

Sad to say that I now understand why TV networks stopped airing Public Service Documentaries and why local TV stations stopped airing notices about their license being renewed and that they welcomed public comment.

What I do not understand is why the FCC under Democratic Administrations never reversed that that GOP decision. Why didn’t they?

This diversity won’t last long

Unfortunately, this is still true in human board rooms too.

Reminds me of a definition of democracy I heard once. “Democracy is three wolfs and a rabbit deciding on lunch.”
