Neighbors are having the big event in the sheep meadow tomorrow. Casual/festive attire. It always cools off here by the end of the day—and a glorious full moon coming up.
I’ve neither been to an outdoor wedding nor had one. The closest was Mom’s second and final wedding, and the reception was in our large-ish backyard. It was in late June in the mid-1970s. Luckily, it wasn’t hot in the evening. It figures Dad’s brothers put Limburger on the engine block of our car. In late June. EW!

It might be hot, but it beats having the reception in the ICU two weeks later.

Yes, and do enjoy the insects bothering you. Watch your drink: bees may be in there. Fun stuff, outdoor events.

Perspiration celebration!
Ha! About to click comment when I remembered my wedding was outdoors in July. With much sun and little shade I was hot in my requisite natty attire.

The last outdoor wedding we went to was in August. The only people with shade were the bride, groom and minister. Everybody else was miserable.
