I’ve been wondering about Archival. Maybe he has no artistic talent at all and is in awe of successful cartoonists and also jealous of them at the same time. He can’t draw his own strips, so he does what he considers the next best thing: he gets his own cartoonist. Mysta is his attempt to have a love life. He may be a frustrated virgin and isn’t the type to hire a streetwalker.

When Tracy and Sam call on Brock Archival, are they going to be doing so in a marked police vehicle? I cannot believe MCU does not have a budget for unmarked police cars.

Archival has done pretty good anticipating all the angles in covering up his kidnapping. I wonder what he’s got in mind for Tracy. Lawyers would be my guess. He IS a bad guy, after all.

And about all the insults Abner Kadaver is getting for being “ineffectual”.He isn’t the firsttop hitman to fall on his face trying to kill Tracy.The much-venerated Flattop was a hitman.So lay off the old guy.He’s got troubles enough.

I enjoy these strips when they combine the fanciful/oddball with real detective work.
