At this rather sad point in human history I kind of hate to admit it but seems God just messed up creating humans in the first place for the most part, their ignorance and egotistical self love in the face of so many unsolved problems is simply disappointing and disgusting, amazing homo sapiens has made it this far but doubt the journey will continue past the next 50 years. Too bad God, nice idea at first. (Reality check)

The revelation here is that the editor knows not “myth” as a literary genre.

Myth = Internalized “public dream” (J. Campbell)

Romans 11:32-36 NIV33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! 34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” 35 “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” 36 For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

For the past several decades, I’ve been convinced that G_d did not take 7 days. More likely, it was around 11:30 on a Sunday night when G_d’s mother calls out, “G_d, have you finished your ‘Heaven and Earth’ project for school tomorrow?”

In the beginning, God created Heaven and the Earth, then He rested. Then He created the plants and the beasts and the birds, then He rested. Then He created Man, then He rested. Then He created woman, and since then neither Man nor God has rested.
