Note that the existence of computers, software, and, implicitly, programmers, is taken as uncontroversially given but the entirety of our physical existence is being called into question. Any hypothetical with not one bit (see what I did there?) of supporting evidence doesn’t deserve any consideration. Except as a joke.

If reality is just a simulation, then perhaps nothing really matters.

Well if life as we know it, is just a computer program. It has some really bad programing and awful algorithms. It’s the Biggest programming mistake in history of the universe.

I commented about a week ago that I didn’t think the universe had passed inspection. This provides more evidence.
