I may be selfish, but I’m glad they aren’t changing residences quite yet.
And so we leave our happy bayou family and return to the mundane world of banality? NAW!
Always considerat.
It hardly seems that a couple of days could be all the help the kids needed. Especially since I don’t think Arlo’s “help” was worth much. That picnic, though sounds wonderful. A bottle of champagne would not be amiss, either.
Such good kids. I’m sorry to see them leave. I’ll miss Gus, too.
I tried creme brulee one time, don’t get the big deal about it. Rather have an ice cream sundae.
I have a confession….I have never been on a picnic. It seems like it would be fun and romantic. Maybe someday…sigh…
Special picnic?
Are the kids waving goodbye or signaling that they want A&J to come back? Like they forgot something?
Arlo, look for a place with a haystack.
who cares for Luddie while they are away?
I hope they go back to visit again soon…I love the interaction with the extended family! And the food!
I like custards, but creme brulee is a bit much.
Guess the boat sunk
Now they can rent out the house and make some extra money
What swell kids!
It IS the most important meal of the day; you wouldn’t know it from a French breakfast, though.
At least get out of their vision first……
Po’Boys don’t have an exact recipe. They’re made with whatever the restaurant or deli has on hand.
Can’t seem to find this restaurant……..
The first cheeseburger of the day is the most important cheeseburger of the day :)
Anyone else having to sign in every day despite checking the Remember Me box? It’s a small nuisance, but a nuisance nonetheless.
I well recall also having a creme brulee in Provincetown, so many years ago.
Why didn’t anyone pick up on the “special picnic”? Arlo seems to be looking forward to it.
