And such a cute teenager he was too!

Those pictures! Pucky hanging on to Elvis’s jacket; Elvis carrying Pucky (and Pucky’s little kitten tail hanging straight down); Elvis curled up with his tail around baby Puck, who is cradled there, on his back, totally zonked.

I think Lupin has plans for those photos…

Ahh, do not be ashamed Elvis, it looks like you really took Puck under your wing! Elvis looks pretty cool in the baggie pants and hoodie which still seems to be popular with at least some of the 21 and under crowd as it is my daughter’s and her roommate’s current everyday attire of choice and is also quite popular with some of the younger students in my community college classes when the weather cools off.

Just look at that nap in the last panel!♥

You can really see why, through all of the (obligatory adjective: dignified!) crust, Elvis is really just a softie at heart who really cares for his best buds.

It’s my birthday

Surely, the teen years were only a month or two for Elvis? And, given some of the fashion choices I’ve seen over the years, he doesn’t look too outrageous – a bit more hair than we’re used to seeing (time takes care of that for many a human male!), and a more relaxed style, but at least he’s not Goth!

I love Elvis’s hair over his eyes and the grunge look. I always wondered what Mr. Button-down with a tie and braces looked like as a teenager. At least we can all be thankful that it is not the late sixties/early seventies. I don’t think I could take Elvis as a hippie.

His secret is blown. Poor Elvis.

I’m not very familiar with Siamese cats. Is it normal that they don’t get the darker coloring in the face until they are fully grown, or why was this coloring choice made? I almost didn’t recognize teen Elvis in yesterday’s strip.

I see Elvis’s outfit and for some reason Smashing Pumpkins songs start playing in my head.

Is it just me, or does Baby Puck look rather like a big robber mouse? Perhaps that’s why he’s so close too Buzzy?

Bravo Georgia Dunn! Thank You for being here on the Planet, and sharing your thoughts and feelings with all of us. I will never forget the teen photos of Elvis. And it occurs to me for the first time that “Puck” can mean a small round, black object as well as a character from Shakespeare.

It’s not that Puck is showing the photos to Goldie that really worries Elvis, it’s that he know Lupin will see them and see that Elvis was a scaredy cat.

By the way, after looking at baby Elvis on the BCN website’s bio page for Elvis recently, why doesn’t teen elvis have a tan nose and ear tips? Not a brown face like adult Elvis has, but a tan face. That photo of baby Elvis in his Christmas sweater (which Georgia assures us he hated) was cute, and yes Elvis does seem to be in shadow.
