Why not?

Because. Just because.

When the light changes, it says “Why not?”

Ran across something a few months back. The chicken crossed the road to pick up a carton of eggs after overhearing Farmer Brown say when the chicken stops laying, it’s the chopping block for her.

Why move from any point to any other point? The fact that there’s a road in between them is a distraction.

Q: Why did this chicken NOT cross the road?

A: He couldn’t answer “Why?”.

To be “Road Kill”.

He bawlked, when his motives were questioned.

To get to the other side?

Because it’s there.

to prove to the opossum that it can be done……..

i played tic tac toe against a chicken named roxy.i lost! it was one of the games at monticello casino and raceway.

An eggistential question.

To show the coons and possums how it’s done.

What the flock …?

The chicken crossed the road to show the deer how it’s done…

Whyever not?

To get to the udder side?

Because I wanna fly the coop?

Because of my combover?

For the hope of a better pecking order.

Why not!

1. The road moved under the chicken.

2. Father O’Chicken made the sign of the cross to bless the road.

I long for the day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned. :)
