In my comics reading today “The Flying McCoys” is immediately followed by “Frank and Ernest” and both have desert-island jokes. It was bound to happen.
That boat is way too close to the island — as in stuck in the sand. “Hey Mate, can you give us a shove? You’re welcome to come aboard once we get moving,”
To anyone who is perplexed: He has been on the island so long with no human company and only the alarm clock that he has forgotten how to speak and can only make clock noises.
@pachearer You nailed it. Guess he was lucky it wasn’t s solar powered electronic model. Not a tick or tock in a day. He’d be mute or babbling old Milton Berle routines.
