I just played “Grandma” in our local skating show and got “run over” by a skater dressed like a reindeer. I made a pratfall and lay there on the ice while a bunch of small reindeer (kids), dragged me by my skates to a waiting ambulance (prop). It was hilarious!
I consider it a successful Christmas if I can get through it without having to hear that song or the dogs barking “Jingle Bells.” Back when “GGROBAR” came out, I was working a Christmas craft show where Elmo and Patsy were entertaining. I heard that song every hour on the half hour, and I vowed never to willingly listen to it again.

I would, even if it meant me being grounded until next Christmas.

I’ve gone all season without thinking about that song. Thank you, Mike, for the Christmas earworm.
