I think there might have been a YouTube video with a similar ending. Students somewhere raised a butterfly from start to finish & two seconds after releasing it into the wild, a bird swooped in & nabbed it.

Hawks have to eat. We have one around us that tried to snatch a little dog while the owners were walking him on a leash.

How much money was spent so that the hawk could grab one quarter of its daily diet?

And there you have it….swoop!

Should’ve just hired the hawk to catch the mouse in the first place.

Dick Solomon, on “3rd Rock”had a similar problem. I think his was a squirrel or chipmunk though.

And that little episode makes more sense than a lot of the weird greeny schemes could ever make. Without the same outcomes
