Back in the 80’s when I had 2 teenage daughters, I had a new phone line installed in their bedroom so I knew never to answer it.

Brad’s remembered Luann practice works well.

I wonder why Luann abandoned it. Not challenging enough?

My kid brother tried to do the floor tantrum bit when he was like two years old. My mom just dribbled ice water in his face. The next time he tried it while hiding his face in his arms, so mom gave him the entire glassful. Let the games begin. Hahahaha.

My mom said that when I tried that she waited until I passed out then I was fine. All I remember is crying allot and being ignored while my brother took my stuff etc. If my kid tried holding her breath I’d tickle her to make her breathe then give her a cuddle. She often forgot what she wanted.

When my daughter was three, she tried the laying on the kitchen floor and fussing I told her her she was doing it all wrong and got on the floor to demonstrate the correct way. After a few minute we all began laughing and it never happened again. :-)

Yes Brad, that will really make your mother give in. Seeing a 13-year-old rolling around on the floor? I would just tell her she missed a spot.
