The book was not banned. It was just taken off the mandatory reading list. There are other bogus assumptions in this strip but I’m too lazy to go into them.

We must never forget the persecution of the most disadvantaged group in america, if not the world: alt-right whites. Perhaps a museum to honour their brave sacrifice should be built. (Note to self: add the real Maus to list of graphic novels to read)

I have said it before and now Mr. Bolling presents me an opportunity to reiterate … Ruben Bolling, like Art Spiegelman, is one of the best representatives of graphic satire artists living today. Keep up the great work, sir. There are many, many over-inflated political egos that need puncturing!

He then lists several more examples of far-right insanity. Pathetic. Truly pathetic. Why the hell are we letting the inmates run the asylum?

I just want to know – is the first book ever banned for a picture (excuse me, a cartoon) of a naked mouse??
