I guess Brutus was asleep during that part of geography class, you know, back when they actually had geography. He probably thought Azores sounded a lot like sores, so it must be something to do with the body, Gladys’ specialty, since she has most of it.
I only know about the Azores because I once took a military hop from Wiesbaden back to the states, and we had a 3 hour refueling layover there. Unfortunately it was in the middle of the night so we couldn’t see much of anything.
When I was getting an ultra sound on my thyroid, the radiologist said to the tech,“There is the isthmus.” I said, “I know what an isthmus is geographically, but didn’t know I had one in my throat.” He said “There’s a geographic one ?” I said, “Did you only stay awake for the medical stuff in school ?”
I made a point of learning a lot more geography after visiting Grandma in Canada and a girl there could name all the US States and their capitals and I couldn’t name all the Canadian provinces much less their capitals. (I can now)
Does anyone here follow Family Circus? Anyone know what has been going on with them, lately? It didn’t post anything for Feb 8 & 9, then they did for 10-14. The last one is Feb 14. I sent them an email, asking what was going on, but have not received a reply yet. It’s been several days.
Wilberforce has now learned that to get the answers in life, you first have to ask the right question. What he should have said to Brutus is, “Hey, Pop, do you what the Azores are?”
Teacher. Bobby: Give me a sentence with the words analyze and anatomy. Bobby. My analyze over the ocean. My analyze over the sea. My analyze over the ocean. Oh, bring back my anatomy! OK. I’m going to my room. ;o)

“I am not sure either, let’s go look it up.” (I know it’s islands but I don’t know exactly where. Never been there.)

You’ll get Azores from sitting through too many Zoom meetings. Clenches may help. Salve is messy.
