So, we finally learn something about Coffyhead’s “operation.” It’s not only “Tonsils” who doesn’t know how it works — we readers don’t know either. At least we get to see Coffyhead drinking coffee from a saucer (by popular request) and we get confirmation that the business with Matt and the police took one day (not to mention a lo-o-ong night).
Oh, and we get the name of Coffyhead’s enterprise, “Coffy Imports,” who apparently makes “custom” chairs, delivered by a mysterious new character.
Coffy Imports! LMAO!!! Do they have a website? Can I order one of their “custom chairs?” Coffyhead’s operation went from nothing to an entire criminal enterprise with delivery trucks and employees wearing company-branded caps! Meanwhile, Coffy and Luigi are acting like a couple of college roommates having breakfast over the kitchen table. Hilarious!
What a bunch of good old boys we have here; doing their business just like legal ones. I wonder if the new help will be eligible for overtime, vacation pay and medical coverage. If not maybe Hoffa can help him out.
Javaface is using a Moka pot to brew his coffee. I’ve never been that impressed with the flavor, but they make a very strong brew and it is impossibly hot at first. (Cool it down, add sweetener, half & half, and ice and it makes a wonderful iced coffee.)
Surprised anyone using a Moka pot would complain about a cup from an espresso machine… Except the guy there was so clueless he served in a coffee mug. Never serve a shot of espresso in a coffee mug. (Although put a shot of espresso in a coffee cup, fill remaining space with boiling water, and you have a caffé Americano.)
Oh, yeah. I remember HIM from Gasoline Alley. Unsuspected veal fudge ripple lollipop-loving serial killer who limped every ninth step and blinked in Scandanavian-accented morse code, wasn’t he?
No? Sorry. Must have him confused with someone else.
Hey, maybe this is the start of that lengthy car chase you guys want!
To answer numerous questions about drinking coffee out of a saucer. It’s an ancient custom from at least Scotland and Ireland. Us Appalachians do the same thing. It exploits a natural cooling. Spread out a hot liquid over a big surface, AND make it shallow, it cools far quicker than a mug. Grandfather use to do that, before he was taken by the Maker of breath. I haven’t started the custom myself however. I just put in enough cold water to make it safe.
The plot thickens, as they say. Coffyhead and his henchman, Luigi, run a cover called “Coffy Imports,” and they have just received a shipment of “custom chairs” courtesy of this “new driver.”
Do “custom” chairs include drugs hidden in their structure? Is the new driver something more than just a driver (e.g., an undercover cop or FBI agent, or even a thug from a rival gang)?
It should be interesting to get some or all of these questions answered as the tale of Coffyhead’s villainy plays out This is surely an intriguing new twist to the story….

The set-up of their kitchenette (placement of countertops, cabinets and refrigerator) is just like the main apartment in Big Bang Theory(LOL)

So Coffyhead only drinks out of a saucer at the office? Is that not to look stupid in public? LOL!

Gotta watch out for Luigi eating too many of those bean burritos.

What kind of person drinks their coffee off of a saucer dish? Probably has to make five trips to a percolator.

Luigi must be eating a burrito…those sure are a lot of napkins to catch crumbs for one piece of food.

Who drinks coffee from a saucer? Although I like him, there’s something wrong with Coffyhead.
