Why did Elvis get a boutonnière along with his hairstyle? I love how Goldie’s “Aw!” says it for all of us.

So who handles his left ear? It doesn’t look particularly unkempt.

Our two black panthers, Belle and Hamilton, seem to groom each other as a prelude to a good tussle. They will begin licking the other’s head and then chomp down! Neither ebony mischief-maker dominates, and both give as good as they get. They really seem to get along and I am glad.

Of course, Mittens and Holly-Bear stay above the fray; Mittens because she is the cat version of the Dowager Countess and Holly-Bear because she is the snarky, sullen teenager, “Meh. Whatever, Dad!”

It will be fun writing dialog for Holly-Bear in Book III: Giblet & Belle, The Case of the Imperishable Vendetta (working title). And, yes, I have started the third book!

Dilly Daisy: Not at all. Just remember to replant us when you’re done. We’ll take root and grow from year to year.

Diana: Are you magical? Uncle Trevor said to be very careful when I’m dealing with magical flowers.

Dilly: Not at all. We just like to look pretty. You may want to add some Blossoms of Blessing to your bouquet, just remember to ask permission.

Diana: Why is that?

Dilly: If you use Blossoms of Blessing dishonestly, you can bring great misfortune on yourself. I remember the story of User-Brad, the actor from the It’s a Wonderful Nine Lives Company.

Diana: Ooh, what happened to him?

Dilly: After trying to make off with a bucket of flowers, he ended up startling Louie-Nour. We didn’t hear from him for weeks.

We made a break through with two of the foster kittens yesterday. The two girls came out and played string toy with me for the first time. I just came out from there a few minutes ago and they were all over that.

I introduced them to Mr Vacuum yesterday. They did not care for him.

Is there a designated left ear cat?

If that curl was any bigger, there’d be a surfer on it.

Our big cat frequently washes our little cat’s ears, but every time she tried to wash his he pulls away… which makes her try even harder… which leads to a wrestling match. It’s a shame, because she has the cleanest ears in town while his always seem to be waxy. No, he doesn’t want us cleaning them either.

Not in response to the lead comment. Just want to send great appreciation and love to Georgia and her domestic pride for the joy reading BCN every morning brings me and my little black cat, Pansy.
