I’d say he was human, but that doesn’t bank well with some people!

I’ve always loved the way @JimmyJohnson draws cups and glasses, with an incomplete oval indicating the top edge. It gives the cup a soft rounded 3-D effect, and now I practice drawing them that way myself.
