I learned early in my working career that compliments were few and far between from upper management. As long as I could smile back at the person I saw in the mirror each morning and knew he had done his best the day before, I was satisfied.

My compliment was the bosses trusting me for a job that needed done. It eventually got me a couple of promotions.

My compliment was the bosses trusting me for a job that needed done. Plus, they would stop by to talk about stuff. Eventually, I got a couple of promotions. I still lunch/breakfast with most of them today. I was extremely blessed.
