What?!? Tifanny had a Maui Adventure and they didn’t even make a story arc of it??? No Fair!! LOL

It looks like all the Moonie Roomies had a good summer vacation. Congrats to Stef on her trophy AND for not already wearing the cheer outfit. lol

This arc looks promising!

Well, the girls’ pre-college activities sure went well.

Gunther doing something influenced by Rosa and Bets together. I would like an arc where Rosa will return to find Gunther.

Wow, Steph is not wearing her cheerleader uniform, shocker!

WHAT!? We didn’t get to see the Maui shindig?? Not Cool, Evanses! Not Cool!

So, who is rooming with who?

What! We were robbed of the Maui trip! We got three weeks of Luann’s inane story writing when we could vacced in Maui. Humph! By the way, what Maui Glow. That’s Tiffany’s normal skin tone. Shouldn’t she look a little more golden. like the wall paper behind her?

Well let Me be the first to say that We were Robbed of Tiff’s Maui trip.

At least she actually went on that Maui trip with her dad. (Or DID she?)

And also as expected, PITA Stef is STILL Tiff’s roommate.

But the good news is, (Besides Gun, Bets, and Dez doing something positive), We are finally DONE with Bernice for a while. ;-)

Does Tiff’s hair look a little less helmet-like?

It kinda feels like G&K are mocking us at this point, by showing all the exciting storytelling possibilities they could have explored, when instead they gave us Bernice becoming a Muse (or rather, her merely talking about it while leaving us to guess for ourselves as to what exactly she does in this role) and Luann listening to tape recordings of herself. So many options and the writers always seem to choose the dullest one.

And so, we start the new school year at college, for the ninth time.

I bet the Maui trip is going to be a retelling and storyof “what I did this summer.” I hope it’s complete with Bernice like hyperbolic fantasies. That strip is etched in my mind because it was so unique!

Also Lu and Bets sure get over mistakes quickly.

Shouldn’t Tiff have a mid tone shading if she came back with a Maui “glow?” Still… our gal looks mighty good!

And no snide remarks about Maui Wowie, PLEASE!

So Tiff went to Hawaii and got lei’d?!? Gotta love comics and their lil double-entendres. I must say i’m surprised to see stef in swimwear and not her trademark cheerleader outfit. So yeah, this weeks arc shows some promise.

I’d take Tiffany’s trip to Maui over any of the other 3.

So, each had experiences that, in more capable hands, could have yielded rather interesting story arcs. Instead, we get Bernice becoming the most unconvincing “muse” ever, Tiff calling herself a “tycoon” while trying to turn her dad’s mansion into CubeDumb, and Luann ostensibly becoming some sort of comedy writer. Great.

Ironic. Stef is holding a trophy, when her big goal in life is to be a trophy. Trophy girlfriend, trophy date, trophy escort, trophy wife

So we’ve got two people humblebragging and two happy to admit that they simply kicked back and did things that they enjoyed.

For once, I’m firmly with Stef and Tiff.

And Dez’ sleeping bag will infest the dorm with all kinds of small livestock – fleas, ticks, grasshoppers…

A new semester begins at the University. It’s nice to see Dez again and how she hasn’t changed ♡. I’m sorry to see that Tiffany is stuck with Stef again. But at least she spent the holidays in Maui with her father. I was sure it would never happen and instead Tom made the surprise of keeping his promise. I hope that the victory has not made Stef even more unbearable. Otherwise, I hope that Bets will be able to help her great friend Tiffany more in times of crisis.

BTW, I don’t see any tan, but it looks like Tiff gained more weight.

Sooo..yes, dressing up and building a school is the same. Dez is so kind to not, at the minimum, roll her eyes.

Sounds like these two had a lot of fun over the break.

So now their Junior year begins. Has Tiff locked on a major yet, and more importantly, is she on track for credit hour towards it?

Let’s not tell Stef that we made her the subject of a bet and the loser had to take her as a roommate.

Dez doesn’t seem interested in superheroes.

What happened to Tiff’s getting rid of all the stuff she’d stored!

Tiffany had a Maui adventure? What did the strip do? We watched Luann play with a tape machine from the 70s. That’s like being at Pear Harbor on 7 December 1941 and working in the mail room.

To each his own. Looks like everyone had a nice rewarding summer after all. Love the little tag on Dez’s bag. Nice positive strip! Thanks. Now let the fun begin! ;-D

For some reason Dez, with her “I’m always on the higher ground” attitude just gets old for me. And it’s the first time we’ve seen her in weeks.

While Luann was writing her stories, Tiffany was busy with getting Maui sunshine.

Well, at least Tiffany TRIED to do something worthwhile with her summer, at least until her father stuck his hand in, probably trying to steal her profits!
