It’s also called soccer, which is a short form of ‘association football, in Australia…. Football is reserved for Australian Rules Football, which is a great game! Rugby, or ’rugger’, is the short form of rugby football.

Bucky should try watching golf if you think soccer is boring.

the most interesting thing about soccer to me are the myriads of miraculous recoveries of those that can’t walk… in every “game” too!

I just don’t understand why people watch other people play a game.

Well Bucky, you can cheer for the sand as it trickles down.

Hasn’t mentioned the no commerical breaks until halftime – one of the best features of the game.

I went to a baseball game last week. The most exciting part was the pre-game watering of the infield. I got to watch wet sand dry!

American football is just as boring to watch. One minute between plays most of the game, ten minutes between plays at the end of halves.

My “favorite” soccer moment was when some jerk Olympics official said females shouldn’t be allowed to play soccer because it’s such a strong, manly sport. The funniest part was, he actually seemed to be serious. I assume he was referring to the rolling around on the ground pretending to be dying in agony when someone else brushes against a player, which seems to be a soccer guy thing.

ACKTUALLY: 99.99% of the world calls it some form of “soccer.” ONLY the Bri’ish call it “football.”

Bucky thinks all sports that don’t involve him wreaking havoc on another creature are boring.

Australian football is the best kind. And this is someone raised (unfortunately) in the United States.

Bucky’s burns are the BEST! Even Mac would give a “Bang on” to that one in the final panel.

I’m not sure what to say. I’m an American who loves cricket (lovely cricket). Even know who Sobers, Bradman, Ranji and Dr. Grace were.
