How about another true story tonight, comics fans? And this time, I assure such curmudgeons as Silver (hopefully recovered from his daffodil bulb by now) I’ve never published it here before…

I was driving somewhere – it doesn’t really matter where – with an old friend, whose young grandson was with us. As we drove along, having a good conversation, I could hear the young man entertaining himself in the back seat. He started singing the Alphabet Song, and I smiled as I heard him begin: “A, B, C, D, E, F, G…” but as he continued, to my surprise, he sang, “H, I, J, K, L and M and P.” Hmmm. “L and M and P”? I said to my friend. “This kid must be a real handful.”

    “How so?” my friend asked.

“Well, lots of kids don’t have NO in their vocabularies. But your grandson doesn’t even have it in his alphabet!”

before the video game and film industries, was it the music industry who was number one? what about playwrights, poets, and authors?

A kid is playing video games in his room, minding his own business. His mother walks in. “Honey, come meet my new boyfriend!”

“I’m kind of busy right now. Can you bring him in here instead?”

A minute or so later, her boyfriend walks in. “Hey, champ! How you doing?”

    The kid ignores him.

“Don’t like champ, huh? That’s fine. How about BlueDragon72?”

The kid turns his head quickly. “I haven’t heard that name since I was ten…” He then realized. “It can’t be..”

“Call of Duty, right? I told you I’d bang your mom.”

Is anyone here a gamer? Does this joke even make sense?

A friend of mine had a teenage son who had a job as a beta tester for a video game company. Talk about your “dream job”.

8.5 hours seems way too low! Just over an hour a day? No way that can be right. The few gamers I know spend at least 2 to 3 hours a day.

The Kitty Kourts must have an awful time with paternity suits. Lucky for DNA.

Take care, may esteemed gamer Shawn “I’m So Very Glad The Semi-Literate Maternity Staff Didn’t Spell It ‘Sean’ On My Birth Certificate” Blisterfingerord be with you, and gesundheit.

I have to admit I know nothing about this “gaming” industry. It must be a thing.

The reproductive act triggers female cats to ovulate, so the number of fathers in a litter of kittens depends on how many times the female copulated within a (I’m speculating) 48 hour window of time.

I’m not surprised. Movies and music are utter and complete garbage now, but video games keep getting better!

The 8.5 hours weekly gamers spend is why the video game industry is so profitable. You can spend 8.5 hours listening to music and still accomplish work, as long as you’re not stuck in an elevator those 8.5 hours.

I’ve been playing video games since the mid 70s and still play them. One game I have, I play it 2 hours every day.
