It’s good he isn’t beating around the bush.

“Stack”? In the rock’n’roll business, “stack” (when used alone) refers to a guitar rig consisting of an amplifier head & 2 (usually 4X12") speaker cabinets. “PA stack” would be the sound reinforcement speaker on one side of the stage. In over a half century involvement with such things, I have never heard “stack” used to refer to any part of a drum kit.
